Here’s a Tufted Duck I photographed yesterday at the Westport Lake; a nice place near my mom’s home in the UK to have a walk around and spot some birds. I saw quite a few species of birds; Blue tits, lots of Mallard, Canada Geese (they seem to be everywhere), a Bullfinch, White Swans, Black Swans, gulls and even a couple of Great Crested Grebe who usually are not seen much during the winter. Also a group of sleeping Pochard. The Tufted Ducks in particular are similar to the Ring-necked ducks that I shared earlier from Canada.
2013 was my year for birding, wondering if 2014 can be as good. Happy birding to all the birders around! 🙂
